Tell the federal government we want a renewables-led recovery not a gas-led one!

CSIRO: Gas = expensive electricity.
Economists: Gas extraction creates very few jobs.
Scientists: Gas is incompatible with our Paris goals.
Investors: Gas has bad returns. No $s.
Politicians: Ignore experts. MORE GAS!
Lock the Gate has started a petition requesting the federal coalition government take immediate action to:
- withdraw subsidies to fossil fuels, and transition these subsidies to renewable energy sources
- urgently create a national renewable energy roadmap to implement this transition
- commit the National Energy Market to sourcing 100% of its energy from renewables within the next decade.
