In many bushfire-affected areas there are current development approvals for subdivisions of land that has the only remaining intact forest in the area. To clear this intact forest for development will have a devastating effect on the ability of the bush and wildlife to regenerate. Some of these large developments were approved 10 or more years ago and no substantial work has been done on them in the meantime.
Please support a moratorium on this clearing in all bushfire areas by printing and signing this petition to the NSW Legislative Assembly. Ask your friends to sign too.
